Manage your comments (Post 5)

 Manage your Comments Comments allow users to input their thoughts on any given post, which can be valuable when making necessary edits. When managing comments ( Manage your comments ), there are several attributes that are available at your disposal. This tutorial is simply used to showcase WHERE to find the comments manager, not necessarily a tutorial on how to use each tool.  1) Sign into blogger and select a blog from the top left. 2) After selecting a blog, click the settings button indicated with the gear icon. 3) Scroll down the page until the section labeled "Comments" is within view.  To summarize each of the functions: Adjusting comment locations allow for where comments appear. The options available are Embedded, Full page, Popup window, and Hide. The 'Who can comment?' function allows for users to control who, as the name suggests, can comment. The options available are Anyone (including anonymous), Users with Google Accounts, and Only members of this blog

Add images & videos to your blog Images and videos are typically used to enrich a user's experience when exploring any given blog. They're important pieces of media that can be important when traversing even your own blog! Here are the following steps in order to insert images/videos ( Add images & videos to your blog ): For Images:   First and foremost, sign into Blogger. 1)  In the top left, select a blog. 2)  Click the post you want to edit or create a new post 3)   At the top, click Insert image 4)  Choose from where you want to upload the image. 5)   Select one or more images and click Insert For Videos:  1) Similar to that of the image tutorial, sign in to blogger and select a blog at the top left. 2) Once you've selected your blog and your desired post, locate the video button as shown in the image. 3) After selecting the video button, click on whether you'd like to upload from your computer or link a YouTube video.  4) Upon selecting your source and sele

 How to use Themes for your Blogs Blogger offers a plethora of themes a user could apply to their blog if the default look appears too bland  ( Use themes to change how your blog looks ).  In order to apply a theme, log into Blogger. 1) At the top left, click the Down arrow. 2) Click a blog to update. 3) In the left menu, click Theme. 4) Select your theme, and at the bottom, click Apply.  Before Theme Change:  After Theme Change: 

How To Create, Edit, or Delete a Post

Topic: Create, Edit, or Delete a Post       In order to become an efficient blogger, a user must know the fundamentals of creating, editing, and deleting a post. ( Create, Edit, or Delete a Post )  In this Educational Tutorial, I will be explaining the basics on, again, creating, editing, and deleting a post as well as how to add labels to your post. How to Create a New Post: First and foremost, sign into Blogger and click on New Post. After clicking on New Post (located towards the top right), a brand new, blank post will pop up on your screen. Next, in order to edit your post, simply click the name of the blog and then Posts . Click the title of the post and make your changes. If your post has been published, you can Update/Revert to draft. For posts that haven't been published, click Published or Save.  Finally, in order to delete a post, click "Manage" towards the top right and check the box of the post you'd like to delete, followed by clicking the trash can icon

Create a Blog

 Topic: How to Create a Blog In order to even start a blog, a user needs to know HOW to create a blog in the first place. ( Create a Blog ) First and foremost, sign into blogger. On the top left, click the Down Arrow and click New Blog.  Follow the instructions given, those being entering in a name for your blog and a custom URL of your choice. Within your newly made Blog, you are able to create a multitude of posts and so much more. Hope this video has helped, and don't forget to Save when you've made your edits!
